The IT market in Romania is marked by an ascending trend of the solutions and services dedicated to the optimization of business processes, a trend that will be emphasized in 2008. Local companies are continuously developing their activities and for that reason they are searching for specialized software solutions in Supply Chain Management, along with the basic Enterprise Resources Planning (EAS) applications for business administration. Wizrom Software, one of the first software business solutions providers on the Romanian market, will follow this ascending trend in 2008 by targeting specialized solution for this particular enterprise segment.
I.D.C. (International Data Corporation) results show that EAS solutions market in Romania is going to have a 20% growth year by year, between 2008 and 2011. By the end of 2007, Wizrom Software already had a 36% increase of its turnover in comparison with the previous year. For 2008, the company expects to maintain at least the same increase rate for its turnover, over the normal market rate; as far as the company’s management is concerned, this target has been achieved in the first two months of 2008.
Wizrom estimates that one of the sources of the increase will be the implementation of specialized solutions in Supply Chain Management. “Our products dedicated to highly complex business processes have been developed, pursuing the main market trends. Solutions such as Business Intelligence, Roadnet Transportation Suite, Logility Voyager Solutions or Warehouse Expert can easily be adapted to a great variety of business types. La Fantana, Atlas Corporation and Quadrant Amroq Beverages are just a few examples of companies that are already using our software applications for logistic optimization and warehouse administration” – Zemy Apfelbaum, Managing Director at Wizrom Software, says.
According to I.D.C studies, Wizrom Software now owns a market share of 11% on the EAS segment. In 2008 the company will also focus on extending its market share by promoting software applications dedicated to business processes optimization.
