The demand of software solutions for production management has reached in Q1 the highest level in 5 years, as the industry companies showed increase interest in taking advantage of the general increase of activity and revenues to invest in the refurbishing of the management software systems.

According to the official statistics, the industry turnover grew 11.5% yoy during January 1st – February 28th, 2014.

“We have reported in Q1 an increase of 77% of the number of contracts for implementing production management software solutions, with the industry companies. This is the biggest growth on this segment in the last 5 years, which signals the revival of the industry and, obviously, the opening of the companies in this domain towards software refurbishing”, Adrian Bodomoiu, General Manager Wizrom.

Wizrom received most of the demands in Q1 for the ERP and production planning solutions, warehouse management solutions (WMS), and transportation management solutions (TMS).

“The goal of the industry companies is getting operational efficiency by improving the production control, to increase the profit margin and better control operational costs. Also, Wizrom’s software solutions contribute to increasing the quality level of products and services offered by our clients to their clients”, Adrian Bodomoiu explained.

Amongst Wizrom’s clients in industry there are big industrial groups in the domains of industrial machineries production, metallic parts and subparts, auto parts, equipments for energy and mining industry, electronic industry, plastic, furniture and timber, respectively engineering and design.
