Six resident physicians from Romania have the chance to work for three years at the prestigious university of Sheba Hospital in Israel, based on a program organized by Wizrom Software.
In exchange for these scholarships, all six doctors will have to return to Romania and work for five years in a public hospital in our country, after three years of specialization.
The initiative belongs to entrepreneur Eli David, President of Wizrom, in partnership with the Ministry of Health. The company chose to mark the anniversary of 20 years since its establishment by an act of donation to the community, rather than celebrate in a traditional way.
The scholarship covers all travel costs and accommodation, plus salary.
"In this way, Wizrom’s customers and employees participate in this effort to give back to the community. Scholarship Program will be fully funded by Wizrom Software and Sheba Hospital and will cover all travel and accommodation costs, plus salary for three years at Sheba Hospital in Israel" said the entrepreneur.
The program, entitled SHI Training Fellowship, starts today in Romania with the selection of the six candidates. The ideal candidates must be resident physicians in training for neonatology, anesthesia / intensive care and pathology in order to participate in SHI Training Fellowship. The stage spent in Israel will be equivalent and will be considered when the residency is completed.
"It is my personal approach to contribute to the society's development in one of the most important issues: health care. I strongly believe that people have the financial resources to take initiative rather than waiting for help from the authorities," said Mr. Eli David, the entrepreneur who controls the company that sponsors this internship program, Wizrom Software.
